Apparently, Microsoft says that “Free Software Violates 235 Patents”. I am not competent in patents, nor patent law, so I cannot say one way or the other if it is true. BUT… if it is true, then it is not warranted; software should NOT be patentable. Ideas are copyrightable, machines are patentable, and that is the way it is
