New glasses, (almost) new classes, new game, and more.
I got my new glasses yesterday. I don’t, however, have a picture of them just yet. I will have that soonish. They are surprisingly light, though. The glasses are a bit stronger (apparently my eyes got worse without my noticing?) and as a result, obviously, I can see better as well. And they’re coming to Atlanta.

So, I recently finally found a replacement for Cinnamon, which you might recall died last June. I wasn’t with a dire need for a replacement desktop, because I had the laptop to enable me to search for a computer that would be exactly what I wanted. Bill Gates said that “Too often we as a society are sacrificing the long-term good of our country in the interest of short term gain.” His overall point is well-to-do; he wants to see improvement in some of the rather obsolete policies that we as a country have. The importance of picking good logins…
You know, in former lives of mine, I have never given much thought to how I identify myself on the Internet. There are various services that I still have logins for-for which it has become impractical for me to cancel and get a new login, because history of the account is important-where I was quite obviously careless in choosing my identifier ( Read more... )
