Got most of my stuff to Daly City... Almost died on the way as an SUV hit the tail end of a pick-up that slid into the guard rail. My car was right behind the SUV, and wasn't able to stop in time, but managed to slide between the truck and the SUV as it bounced off the end... I went through a big cloud of smoke, gasoline and a bunch of debris.

Was surprised as hell by that fact.

Had to run my front right tire onto a curb to raise the car enough so as I could pull the bumper out from under it.

Don't recommend ever riding in a Ford Explorer, not that that's big news, but just to reiterate...

Earlier this evening someone almost ran me over in an intersection. Not nearly as freaky as your experience, but it suggests that there is a god...who is out to get us today.
