Gene Therapy Success
Successful experiment in turning off the gene in adult mice, Cdk5, responsible for an enzyme linked to neural cell death, related to diseases such as Alzheimer's. Gene therapy was decidedly used, due to mice genetically engineered to lack the gene being stillborn. The students in the Anatomy class probably caused such a stink over the new professor that the test scores were put under scrutiny. A little more than 3/4th of the class dropped out, and that should arouse suspicion. 2 weeks now since my last final and there's no grades posted.
