Damn, I was going to go to Full Sail for Show production but, looks like I might be off to Chicago. Do what interests you the most pursue it!

Haha, I dunno... Show production is more hands-on but with games, you get get add the music, the personality, the fashion! It's just sitting at a computer so much that is an issue.

hmmm...check out other options, just because the cost is completely ridiculous. are we talking orlando full sail or somewhere else?

Yeah, Orlando and anywhere you go is gonna be expensive.. I was gonna look into grants to lower the cost of course:)

Full Sail is a good school, but I would definitly do my research before going. I went in '99 for the Comp anim degree program, and though it's much better now, back then, they were still forming the courses, and the material would change mid-course.

It's a great school, but make sure you can do it with a minimal or no job. The hours arent reliable, and most places dont work around it.

I myself am driving from Tampa to Orlando DAILY, since monday. I landed a job with EA Tiburan, wich is in Maitland.

But I loved going to school there, and even though I didn't finish, it's an amazing experience, if you can afford it.

Just don't rely ont he school for job placement. Network w/ people, make good friend ships, don't screw anyone (even by accident), and when you get out, you can probly find something... if not, EA is always looking for Quality Assurance folks to test games, like what I'm doing.

Also though, IADT here in Tampa has similar degree programs.

There is an IADT here too, but I heard it's not so good, I was looking into their fashion design program awhile back.. Have you heard anything about it???

So.... You're a video game tester!? And you get paid for it!? Are you for serious!?

very serious. pay isnt the best, but it's good on a resume, and it feeds me...

dunno anything about IADT, I'm sure some people around here know more about it than me. I know their tampa campus is a good one though.

Full Sail is a good school, but definitly do your research... DigiPen and Guild Hall are also good schools, so i hear.

also... i checked into Academy of Art University in San Francisco that actually does online courses for Fashion Design and other courses too..they are an actual school and fully accredited... i am keeping them in mind. they have webcast classes, chat rooms and you can email your instructor and such.
