I just don't know how much more "out of the box" I can really go about this. Killing someone that directly threatens your own life is not criminal nor immoral. Abortion, "mercy killings", euthenasia, murder (you know, the standard kind), revenge killings (i.e., you rape or kill my daughter, so i kill you) are all illegal and immoral. I think if someone does something worthy of capital punishment, they shouldn't get the easy way out, and be put to work in some camp in Siberia and made to suffer a hard life of labor. And on the off chance they happen to be innocent we won't have to worry about putting an innocent person to death. The only killing that walks the line and falls under a "depends on the particular situation" umbrella would be killing others in war. I think in the defense of one's nation, that is a just nation, or the liberation of others, is ok. (I really don't want to start a discussion on the ( ... )
