I believe Neil Postman was the genius behind the content of the course. The book is called "Technopoly." I haven't the heart to sell it back yet. It's quite outstanding. May I ask who this is? Not that it matters in our little virtual world, just curious. take care. -pauly

I know pezpunk (tina) and keasby (ami) on your friends list, and found your journal while *really* damned bored this afternoon.
See, I'm moving back downriver after getting my masters degree at michigan tech in rhetoric, technology studies, philosophy, and communication.
I know *those* two from high school, and random city club visits I suppose, though living 600 miles away as I do has somewhat limited those (as has living in the UP limited my ability to want to spend lots of time around teeming masses of *scened* humanity).
Anyway, I went to gabriel richard (which is how I know them), and then to michigan tech, and am only now coming back. And damn is it dull down here sometimes.
