Fic: Suicide Boys, Chapter 8

Puck had gotten his doctor’s certificate on the first day. Just a quick, official note signed by his GP stating that yes he had been ill. It was a mark of just how disillusioned and inattentive Puck’s GP was that he hadn’t even bothered with much of an exam. Just a couple of quick questions, a quick poke of his neck to check for swollen glands, and ( Read more... )

Ah! Crazy crazy good. I don't know how you manage to do it, but you had be rooting for Puck! But I also feel like crying, because it is sitll so sad that Kurt had to have his friend kill.

And I love the line, "The rumpled silk made him look younger, which made Puck feel sort of dirty. And then he had to grin, because murder never made him feel dirty." I giggled. Puck so would think this.

I'm glad you enjoyed it all. :)

Puck has completely accepted that he's a murder-loving freak, hence the well-adjusted thoughts he has. /innocent look

That was an emotional punch. I have always cheered for the boys, their victims were faceless and I never liked Blaine but YOU made me care for him in a way. And now he's dead, killed by Puck who did it for Kurt. What an end. You are a fantastic writer.

I just thought it might be more interesting to see what I could do with the death of a friend. (Which sounds creepy when I say it like that, actually...)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

I'm so glad they got away with it. Is that awful of me? But I was rooting for them. Although your Blaine turned on my sympathy near the end so I'm a bit conflicted. Still was that enough for puck? Serial killers don't usually change their MO, a bit of knowledge I've gathered from watching ncis.

You're right in that killing Blaine was an uncomfortable experience for Puck - it was a first, he didn't know exactly what he was doing - but at the same time he knew if he used his usual MO it would never be called suicide. And that was the whole point. Getting rid of Blaine in a way that wouldn't have the cops crawling all over McKinley again.

I know I've been away a while, but I shall be back soonish. Rest assured there is something brewing, and I've been thinking about posting an illustration first as a hint.
