The Porn Announcement (with NSFW Pic)
The picture below was a request from sadisfticfangirl, who was kind enough to write a little Purtzilla for me. I've taken longer on this picture than any other (so, yeah, it's a bit overdue), and the announcement below will tell you a bit about why. But first - the porn, to reel you in.
The Announcement: From here on in I am unable to draw any explicit sex scenes unless they're a comission (or a "paid request", which is considerably cheaper).
You see, about six months ago I finally moved in with my fiance. And while he doesn't get my fandom obsessions he tolerates my squealiness and all of the fanfic writing/reading that I do. He's good with the fanart, he'll help me brainstorm ideas for fics, but we're both a little uncomfortable when it comes to my drawing naked boys with obvious penis. (Actually I'm a little more embarrassed than he is, considering the crit I got on this one was "...it's a little bit pink, was that intentional?")
I know it's hard to believe but it's my own delicate sensibilities here. Many years of various anxieties have combined to make it impossible for me to draw naked people while someone else is in the house, unless I'm doing it as some kind of job.
This is not some kind of ploy to make money. I don't care either way if nobody wants me to draw this kind of stuff ever again. I'm just putting it out there that if you do, I'm not going to be comfortable unless I can call it something I'm obligated to do because I'm being paid. (Otherwise I'll have to do it in the few hours a week I get to myself, and it will take for-bloody-ever because who wants to draw on their one morning a week that they can actually sleep in?)
Finally, an optimistic price list:
A4 Black and White Line Art Only - 20USD
A4 Coloured Art - 40USD
A3 Black and White Line Art Only - 30USD
A4 Coloured Art - 60USD
And "paid requests" are basically just whatever you want to offer.
