I think Puck just misses the ability to pull big magic whenever he wanted to. (Plus, he doesn't realise it yet, but he really wants to impress Kurt.)

I find it interesting that Puck didn't pick up on the fact that Kurt neatly sidestepped the issue of how his date went the day before. I have the feeling he's going to get back to that, probably when Kurt's thinking he's gotten away with keeping it to himself.

I've been enjoying this series - just the thought of Puck with wings makes it worthwhile, but it's full of fun and whimsy, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
