Valkyrie looks fascinating and that I want to see despite my inclination to boycott anything Tom Cruise lays hands on. But watch the trailer... does is shock anyone else that even when the protagonists are Germans and Nazis for chrissake, Hollywood won't give them the slightest hint of a German accent? Well, if he's speaking his "native" language to others speaking the same language, why would there be an accent? We only have accents when we are speaking languages other than our own, don't we?

So you figure the "bad guy" will have an accent, and the "good guy" won't?

Interesting idea. I'll go to the movie with you and we can find out, if you can figure out a good location for us both. That theater we went to at the great mall would be OK for me. I can find that!

Yes, I remember you always got irritated that characters spoke their "native language" in accented English. It has long been your pet peeve. Amusing that fearless_em's peeve is exactly the opposite!
