valentine's day movies and pollage

Happy Valentine's Day, flisters! In honor of the holiday this year, the universe gave me a stomach virus. At this point I'm almost positive I don't have ebola and am feeling pretty human. The nadir of the whole experience came between ten and midnight last night, a period during which I wouldn't quite have gladly welcomed death, but let me tell

This cracks me up - I've been in a very Austen-ish mood lately, and I am watching Sense & Sensibility right now. Not to mention finishing my umpteenth re-read of the novel just yesterday... :)

Still, Emma is my all-time favorite!

I love Emma, too! For me, my favorite Austen is usually the one I've been exposed to most recently; in the last few months, I've gone from Persuasion as my favorite, to Northanger Abbey, to S&S, and now (since PBS is showing it) Pride and Prejudice. Basically, I love them all!

I totally agree about the smooching! And am appalled to discover that my icons are also completely smooch-free.

I really agree about the 6th Potter book, too. I am SO EXCITED for the movie because it's basically Harry Potter as a romantic comedy. LOVE IT!
