To try and maintain two blogs or just the one?

I'm wondering if I should try to run my LJ and my Blogger blogs at the same time, maybe purposing one of them to one end and another to some other goal. I mean, all my friends in the east know about my Blogger account and read it infrequently. Everyone I know from out here in the west knows of that one, and this one. Is it worth it to bother

What's "special" about LJ is the ability to "Friends" lock or filter entries - thus you can post without getting google-cached on LJ if you so desire. You may wish to take this into account when setting purposes.
