That's what I was wondering, too.

The City isn't as weird as it seems at first, I promise. You'll get used to it faster than you know.

I didn't say I wouldn't. I am very adaptable.

It's a holiday. It's supposedly religious but mostly it involves giving each other presents, a fat man in a red suit, and bringing a decorated tree inside your house.

That sounds pretty stupid.

I don't think it's something you'll be too interested. It's a holiday about good will of men, peace of earth and give to others.

No. I don't see why you'd make a holiday about any of that.

Because some people aren't complete sociopaths actually care about others?

It's a holiday. It's mostly about having a big feast, a big decorated tree, and celebrating with friends. And you're supposed to exchange gifts, to.

I still think the tree sounds stupid. The big feast might be all right, but I wouldn't want to have to get people presents.

Well, they don't have to be big presents. It was mostly just sweets, in my world.

This place likes having lots of holidays, but you don't actually have to celebrate 'em.

Good. I don't intend to celebrate all these strange holidays.
