I just wanted to let everyone know that I am less "panicky" now than I was, but now I am definitly more doomsday feeling. I dunno, I just have no appetite and feel like my life is crashing around me. I just hope that everyone will keep praying for me / thinkin about me so I can get past this funk. plus, I need prayer that I can have confidence ( Read more... )

my two cents worth... miss_refractory September 7 2004, 20:09:52 UTC
Ever since I've known you, you've done well at almost everything you've attempted to do. If you want to teach, you'll do it, and do a damn good job. So.. relax... jacob.

I agree with her:) And what ya need is some Jesus, who you have...so you are good to go. No matter what, He's got yo back. And you know you can call whenever ya need me;) I'll walk my ass to your place if i have to...haha. But seriously, I went through the same type of thing this summer...I like to tell myself that I'm not good enough. But God loves us no matter what, so please trust in the fact that you are His child and He won't ever let you down. Satan has no hold over us through his attacks, if only we use the name of the Lord Jesus. Take hold of that. And you know you can do anything...you need only ask and He will listen. Bam! my optimistic and truthful point of view for the day. Now smile mister! hehe

I hear ya dude. My funk occured last semester where I actually ended up seeking a couple sessions of therapy. It happens, but it also ends. That's my favorite verse...I just wish I knew the reference (someone help me out): "this too shall pass." Whatever is going on will be over and you'll progress onto something bigger and better. Life really is an adventure. I hope you feel better, because a poopy nate is not a good nate at all.....well, there really is no "bad" nate, but I'd rather see one non-poopy. :) POOPY. I just like saying it now. Sorry. :)

Poopy.

3I thank my God every time I remember you. 4In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

***6being confident of this, that he who BEGAN a good work in you will carry it on to COMPLETION until the day of Christ Jesus.***

7It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.

Phillipians 1:3-7
