Character Name: Subaru Sumeragi
Character's Age: Sixteen.
Birthdate: 19th February.

History: Subaru grew up in the outskirts of New Sanctum, not in the inner circle. From a young age, he was found to have great spiritual powers, even more so than the rest of the clan - and, became the heir to the Sumeragi Clan. He spent most of his young life in the outskirts, occassionaly travelling into the city to help out, though most of the time remained at the shrine, and only ever left for schooling.
When he reached fifteen, the problems in the inner circle grew to be somewhat immense, so his grandmother commanded that he go and live there - with his sister, though she is more likely to come and go, wearas Subaru remains in the city, sometimes visited by a friend he made, Seishirou. He goes to school when he's not working, but has earned quite a reputation in the supernatural realm of being a medium, so quite a few people have heard of him.
Personality: Subaru, on first glance, appears to be a normal, healthy boy who's just going about his way - on second glance, it's clear he's a kind soul. Subaru is kind to such an extent he cares about the welfare of others more than himself. He's not trying to be a Saint, it's just how he is - but in someways, people wonder if he'll be able to survive in this world. Everything that happens to everyone he sees during his work, he remembers, keeping it to himself: this, in a way, is his one weakness, that his natural empathic regime is far too strong for his heart to cope. Overall he usually has someone to keep him in check, so he remains on a steady level. Often has to be reminded to eat by his twin sister, or else he forgets to eat at all (he's not often hungry).
Despite the kind exterior, Subaru is very sincere - once he starts a job, he sees it through to the end. He can be determined when times call for it, clear headed and makes the best out of situation headed for the worst. He is a rather shy, quiet, and reserved boy, so is overly polite to most people around him, even his sister. Subaru finds it easier to love everyone else, yet sometimes finds it hard to be nice to himself. His sister, Hokuto, knows that if Subaru ever fell in love with someone special, and that person betrayed him, then the likelihood would be - that 'Subaru would surely die'.
Powers/Combat Skills: Subaru is a powerful 'onmyoji', which is literally a spirit medium. He has the power to exorcise spirits from the living world and help them move on, talk to them, and solve them problems. From being able to really put himself in another persons position naturally, he has a good repitation on succeeding on jobs. He sometimes uses paper spells and chants to aid him in his work - banishing vengeful spirits, entering another persons subconscious, and so forth. He's quite well known, since he is the thirteenth heir of the Sumeragi clan.
Very agile and lithe from his battles, Subaru can mostly dodge many attacks that are sent at him. Been close to a shrine as a child, he occasionly dons traditional miko-like robes to perform exorcisims.
Extra: Always has to wear gloves, as commanded by his grandmother due to a childhood event.
Has a twin sister, known as Hokuto. 'Hunted', so to speak, by the Sakarazukamori clan of assasins, the rivals of the Sumeragi clan. Unbeknowst to Subaru, the one after him, is in fact the second person closest to him - Seishirou Sakurazuka.
In canon: Subaru is an extremely talented onmyouji (also referred to as a yin-yang sorcerer or spirit medium) and the 13th Head of the Sumeragi clan.
