hey! i have a question .. a couple friends have been asking me what "fangirl" means. how would one define it? any thoughts?

I spent half an hour trying to explain it to my therapist and I think she only sort-of got it. :)

Thing is, "fangirl" alone can be just like Tiara said- girl who is a fan- but the Fangirl [sub]Culture... It would take a whole book. It's one of those things that you have to be in the middle of to really see (and feel!) where its "boundaries" are, I think.

Um, sorry I couldn't be more help... this is a topic I like to think/talk/theorize/philosophize about, though. :)
