gaaaaaa, I bought alcohol and got carded.

and i'm in Japan.

those two are quite connected, separately they aren't much news.

what? that is pretty strange. though actually, i thought i heard something when i was there about them thinking about starting to card or something. maybe they're actually gonna start doing that.

separately but related, i ordered drinks a few times when i was in canada and never got carded, which was a little disappointing because they were my first legal drinks. but oh well.
