I seriously thought my fic-foo was broken. I haven't posted anything since February! I wrote this way back then, but carron very gently told me that it needed some work, which it did, and made me rewrite the last 2/3. I finally opened it up again a few weeks ago and finished it

Actually, it was that little aside you had of John wanting to watch Rodney touch himself. I had written a story for a friend (a het story) with the woman wanting to just watch the man and I was thinking just the other day that it might be good to try and adapt that to a John/Rodney fic. I love that image! Can't you see it? John trying to subtly urge Rodney up, which Rodney ignores, then John' grasps his shoulders, and Rodney shrugs him off. It all makes me very happy. *girly sigh*

Awww! I have a special place in my heart for fics that detail the very early, awkward, exciting stages of a relationship.
