I actually had enough energy today to do some shopping, which I loathe with a passion, but I've been in desperate need of some new clothes. I wear scrubs most of the time, so I don't need much, but I've lost a bit of weight recently and the clothes I have are literally hanging off me. It totally sucks when you feel like a frump because your ( Read more... )

You must have a body like a Greek Goddess! And yep, those jeans would have been mine if I'd have heard that. LOL

::giggles:: No, I just think she saw me in my old jeans and was commenting on the improvement! But yeah, after hearing that, I turned to the sales girl and said, "Can I wear these home?" *g*

Halfway through downloading S1. Got the first half of S2 that I didn't have downloaded and have watched all the eps up to the end that I did have. so now I get to watch 'the history'. I love the show. The few eps that I'd seen on tv I really enjoyed, so I knew it was just a matter of having them all available to watch when I had the time. Still not into the wincest, but the brotherly love is wonderful!

The sale was actually a pretty good one, or I would have had to take out a loan. I was so stunned at the wow. How could I leave them in the store after that? *g*

Yay!! Go you! Coldwater Creek has lovely clothes, clothes made for grownups. And it's worth a few extra bucks to have something that fits and looks fabulous. You'll get a lot of use out of those jeans.

Hmmmm, maybe I need to do some shopping, too.

*nods* Some of their stuff is very pretty, too. :) Although, they still didn't manage to get me out of my jeans and t-shirt rut, but they're grown up jeans and t-shirts now. *g*

I've decided that shopping in higher end stores is very, very dangerous. I have a sneaking suspicion the wow lady was actually a store employee, and her sole job was to pop out and do that, just to make people spend more. *g*

Nope, I'm sure you looked FABULOUS.

And there's a lot to be said for grownup jeans and teeshirts.

Wheee! New clothes AND a wow! Go you! :-D

Still looking for flights - but I think I might have found one :-))))) BA, which still means Heathrow (boo!) but reasonably priced and a sensible time (yay!) Seven left too, outbound and inbound, so no need to panic ;-)
