You and me (and everyone I've ever met who's tried chili-chocolate) both.

I think you and I will have to agree to disagree on this matter ;0) I'm dying to find a source of chilli chocolate which doesn't cost the earth. I could get it in Germany, but it would be really, really dark chocolate, which I hate. So I want chilli milk chocolate.

When I visited Ooga in Paris we went to a chocolate fair and one of the stalls had a chocolate fountain with chilli milk chocolate. They served it on tortilla chips. It was AMAZING. I think it was probably nicer than when I've had similar things with marshmallows and fudge and the like. And this from somebody who doesn't normally like mixing sweet and savoury.

I don't know -- I can maybe see liking it in select occasions, but the way I came across it was so unexpected.

Clara (midnight): I want chocolate! Hey, roommate has chocolate! *quietly sneaks to kitchen and breaks off a tiny piece from the nearest bar*

Cue CHILI-CHOCOLATE DOOM.

When you're expecting a savory bit of superdark chocolate and get chili instead? Arrgh. I had to brush my teeth four times before I began to feel recovered...

But we'll have to agree to disagree even if I do come to some sort of new love for chili-chocolate -- I only take my chocolate very dark -- milk is mediocre and white is an abomination to my taste buds. Heh. Different strokes, etc.

We can be like Jack Sprat and his wife then - I can't stand dark, like milk and loooove white.

I had chili chocolate cheesecake at the mexican restaurant near me. It was delightful! but probably not if you weren't expecting it.

Also: I still have a cd for you! but it is outdated now. And also, you're definitely not at your old address. Can I try sending it to you again? I've been stealing stamps from work just for this.
