I am standing in the bath tub

who am I? If he
will just come back once
and kiss me on the face
his coarse hair brush
my temple, it’s throbbing!

then I can put on my clothes
I guess, and walk the streets.

I relate very much to 4 right now.. thank you for posting that.. it's always nice to find words that describe what you are feeling.

It was the last section that got me, too, and I thought for a brief moment about only posting that section, but I do so hate to break up a poem, and I love the second part as well. But yes. "waiting for the catastrophe of my personality / to seem beautiful again." Oh, Frank.

that was the line that grabbed me. It was so... exact it took my breath away: it's been a long time since a poem has been able to do that.

I'm not sure I like everything she produces; some of it seems as though she's being deliberately abstract and controversial for the sake of it, but I did like that one.
