Beautiful! I'm a sucker for language used like this - beyond what we normally try to just shuck out so that we convey our ideas as quick as possible. This was gorgeous!! Truly! Keep it up :)

I love words and trying to figure out different ways of writing/describing things that still make sense. Honestly, we have so many words; might as well play around with them!

There needs to be more TOS in our Reboot, I think. Because really, you could spin so many things so many different ways!

Definitely similar issues. But goodness, there are so many options to explore with this pairing! And just with the idea of Spock's biology in general. And I agree with you on them being conscious of those differences; I can especially see Spock being very self conscious, yet hiding it very well.
