Some other parting thoughts on DA2
Ugh, I need to stop reading other people's opinions. I keep feeling bad about the fact that I still like the character of Anders even after blows up the Chantry. He is both a terrorist and a revolutionary, and I hate what he does, but at the same time I loved his character arc, even with the trainwreck it turns into (it is a good trainwreck - I like trainwreck endings). So...I love the character while I hate him? If that even makes sense?
Also: so many people seem to be hating on the game because it wasn't 'epic' enough. You know what? That's why I liked it! It was politics and issues that you, as the character, try to fix, but you can't. And I find that so much more interesting than another 'so-and-so is an awesome warrior person why saves the world/universe/galaxy from certain destruction at the hands of Reapers a giant dragon ultimate evil. Yes, the game needs a sequel for the story to feel more complete, but I very much enjoyed the game on it's own.
And I'm playing it again, anyway. And I still love Anders. And Isabella. And everyone.
