I'm not into genderswitch but I think you wrote this really well. Your language is so pretty and how you describe Hyukjae's attraction towards Donghae is sweet and a little heartbreaking. For a while I thought Donghae was crying over a guy and that would have been angsty laksjdh not that it being her dad made it any less sad. There's such a warm glow about this fic, especially at the end, that it makes my heart melt. I love the way you write!

Throughout the whole story this image of Donghae kept on appearing in my mind, kind of....distracting, but anyways.

But omg, the scene in the tree was so cute :3 And surprisingly, I liked the hot chocolate part. Nyehehe. Girl!Hae is still the girl in the relationship, I see. LMAO.

Hyukjae heaves a sigh as she turns her attention back to the professor, chin resting on her hands. Donghae stops writing, and Hyukjae rethinks the formerly abandoned idea of sliding pieces of paper down her back again.

She's about to reach over when Donghae turns around in her seat, grinning. A piece of paper - probably torn from her notebook - is in her hands. Leaning forward, Hyukjae stares at the paper, before realising with a jolt that Donghae has drawn the shape of a heart, as well as the words 'pay attention' near the bottom of the paper.

Hyukjae rolls her eyes, but can't stop the forming of a silly grin.
