Attrition Great interactive site listing maps, locations, details, elevation, etc. From easy to OMG!!!

Best Hikes With Dogs From here you can access all the great books by Mountaineers publishing.
Footsore Volumes 1 through 4. these are sorely outdated, there's been a lot of development since their printing. they're still a good resource and a good starting point, however.
Washington's Rails to Trails Statewide projects, turning old rail beds into walking paths and bike paths.
Rails-to-Trails Washington and Oregon Title self-explanatory.
