I have been dead for a while.  For a couple of weeks to a month, I've watched the world go by and just sat in a hole filled to my elbows in apathy, leaving only for quick bouts of depression or anger

Patrick Wallace, I miss you so much. Of COURSE I'm always game for conversation!! I can't wait for Saturday, I'm so, so, so, SO excited for you guys to come up.

Also, it's funny what you said about choosing happiness. I was having a really rough time last night, and then as I was writing in my journal (my real-life one) it dawned on me that I can choose to be lonely and sad, or I can choose to be happy and on top of my shit. We always have a choice. And I should choose to be happy and great far more often. It's nothing I haven't realized before, it's just so easy to forget, ya know? It's crazy (and awesome) that we both came to that conclusion around the same time. :)

We'll have to discuss all this further when I see ya. I also have some ideas about those crazy dreams!!
