1.) the sun is beginning to set before him, and harry has his arms stretched out like he’s pulling it down single handedly. For lines like this because, what bb? What? Beautiful. Lyrical. You made me tear up at one point and that does not happen ever. Just ... yeah.
Also,
2.) You could have easily caved to the temptation to take the easy way out, to swerve and leave even a sliver of hope that things might end differently, but you stuck to your guns (no pun intended) and wrote what was an infinitely better ending. I admire that as I've never been able to accomplish it myself.
