Great post. So evocative, it felt the way summer feels. Made me think of Battery Park in the summer, eating Mr. Softies after a late movie in Bryant Park, walking countless blocks after a long day in the city, all those tourists with their fanny packs and cameras. Reminded me that summertime isn't all intolerable, that it can exist in its own bubble without touching or being touched by anything around it, and that there's always something worth remembering when it's gone.
