So it's been a while (again) since I updated this thing, but I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes a few days ago. I read them all and they made me grin lots, and I hope I will eventually get around to thanking you all individually, but right now, tonight, I'm attempting to write 1000 words of education essay that is

I'm attempting to write 1000 words of education essay that is due tomorrow. So far, I have 4. It is 12:30 am. So clearly an awesome time to be updating my LJ.
Awwwr, you sound like such the university student. *Snugs more.* Hope it goes alright. And yes, that is the most logical time to be updating LJ. Congrats on getting the postmodern lit. essay done! (I still don't completely understand "postmodern" as a thing, but my father is going to lend me a book that he recently read on the subject; he thinks it'll be right up my alley as well as educational.)

One percent per weekday? That's pretty sweet even if the weekend does count--it was university policy at my uni that any paper lost 10% immediately after the deadline. (I mean, if it was reasonably after--like a few minutes--then often the secretaries/instructors would let us give it in, but not always.) I can see why that would
