Was doing my education reading for the week earlier and I came across this line: "Criticism of these inequalities by those who have the 'rough end of the economic pineapple' is discredited...". Props for the inclusion of an amusing metaphor in an otherwise dull as hell

I am having the slightly distracting experience of hearing Kate Bush music in my head whenever I read the name 'Heathcliff'. I wonder if there's any cure for that?

I may have to take myself upstairs to allow myself to see the Voldy vids which are just SO PLEASING.

I am also a football fan and recall Jose Morhino (OMG why does spelling go away with sobriety?) saying "there are some sour oranges in the squad" - which was apparently the equiv of "bad apples" in UK English. Maybe pineapples come from a different country again? Hee. Love it.
