So I got some awesome news yesterday - I won a CIHR studentship!!! The "better" one too- woohoo woohoo woohoo. So this means a number of things - a) I really wont have to apply for any more funding during my graduate program b) Ill win the U of A presidents scholarship which will cover my tuition for the rest of my graduate program, and give about ( Read more... ) -

Senior Seminar
So wow, time creeps up fast and it turns out my senior seminar is 2 weeks from today. Which really means I need to have it ready one week from today for presentation critique etc. at lab meeting. Its just too early
Well, its not that bad, its approaching 8 am, but man I feel like its about 5 for some reason. Maybe that means my day will seem to go faster as Ill only feel like its 2 when its time to go home. I think I need to start the 30 day challenge on the EA sports trainer again - I have never completed it in 30 days...I always end up taking a week off or something making it impossible to complete. Ive never honestly tried to control my weight
Something Ive realized is that while being overweight with my BMI precariously close to "obese", I worry about/try to do something about/focus on my weight a lot less than most other women I know. I have never tried any weird diets or strange speed-like weight loss pills. I have never become obsessed with the gym. I have never seriously tracked ( Read more... ) -

I do too much of both of those 2 things and I dont understand why I cant seem to find another valid option. Should play more guitar. Should work with my stamp collection. Should read. So its one of those evenings, where I dont leave lab until after 5:30, and then, have to work for CONSNP as soon as I come home, finally finishing up with a phone call to the UBC Chapter Rep, that ended at 7:15.
