Has anyone seen Roseola before?

Hunter's rash looks like this he has a slight fever to go with it. I can't get him into the doctor until tomorrow. It is ALL OVER HIM besides his privates. Any clue?

I want to say that's what Julian's looked like but I didn't take pictures adn don't remember well now. With roseola the fever is usually quite high.

Yeah, bianca had a fever of like 103 for NO REASON, and then a day later fever broke and rash broke out.

I would say that's probably what it is, unfortunately, there's not much you can do for the little man. Is he acting bothered by it at all? It's a virus and I was told it would go away in about 3 days. If he has the rash for more than three days, then to take him in. Does your pedi have a nurses line or anything?

Yep, I actually just got off the phone with them. They said to wait it out.

My daughter got Roseola in late January.

She had a fever and was super tired, then when the fever broke, the rash came out, and it was like little pin pricks, then they got slightly bigger and spread from her neck and face down to her chest and body.

The rash did look similar to that.

my doc just said that it's pretty harmless, to keep her comfortable and that most kids get it before they're 3 (here anyway)

Is it maybe Hand Foot and Mouth? Samantha had a really virulent case of it and had a rash all over her lower body as well as a insanely high fever (a little over 105).

But that was a really strong case. Maybe it is less?

Baby ibuprofrun can help with the fever, a bit. I hate giving Sam medicine, but it did the trick for a few days.
