Hospital bags!

If you're giving birth in a hospital or birth center, have you started packing your bags yet? I packed mine a few weeks ago, but I've started doubting some of my choices, and wanted to get some opinions ( Read more... )

You have the right idea, go as comfy as possible. I'm bringing jammies and a few nursing tanktops (www.glamourmom.com has awesome stuff). I have my favorite yoga pants and flipflops for daytime wear.

I've packed mine, but that's because I've already went into preterm labor twice, so it's been ready for a while ( ... )

I haven't packed yet either but I've been getting the urge to lately. I made a list of everything I'm taking on my journal so I would have it as a guide when I go to the hospital. DUring my first pregnancy I didn't have my bag packed and it really sucked going to the hospital without anything. I would definetly reccomend some REALLY loose pants or even night shirts and definetly take your own underwear and pads! They gave me some mesh underwear that were a joke and the pads were so thin they didn't even do any good! This time I'm bringing my own! I tried breast feeding but unfortunately failed. My son just refused to latch on. While I was attempting though I noticed that tank tops were the easiest and most comfortable. I would also bring some comfy cotton bras without underwire and breast pads just in case you have any trouble getting started. You don't wanna be leaking colostrum all over your tops. I would also bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The ones they supply suck! And if your acustom to using a brush instead of a comb ( ... )
