Let's talk stretch marks, shall we? When I was 12, I went through a growth spurt and ended up with lots of stretch marks covering my thighs. They've since faded and are hardly noticeable, but when I got pregnant, I of course began slathering body butter all over my stomach. I know that they say that if you're going to get them, there is nothing you ( Read more... )

I always thought that you just got them where you grew a lot, but I guess my butt and your right boob are out to shoot down that theory!

LOL!

at first I thought they were blue veins, but then I looked closer, and was SHOCKED! My left boob is perfect, and the right one has like 3-4 stretch marks :(

Well, I guess I should at least be happy that the ones on my butt are somewhat symmetrical.;p

The funny thing is I was about to post something along the same lines as what you just did!
I've begun getting a couple of (as yet) tiny stretch marks underneath my boobs.
I've been using an oil called Bio-Oil after I have a bath. I know it may not do too much but I figured I might as well try, hey? So far I haven't gotten them anywhere else, and I stick the oil from about my thighs up to my chest each morning. It's nice cos it's not oily after you rub it in, and smells great!
I also intend to begin using a loofah to sorta help circulation/elasticity, so I'll see if it helps any!

Ooh, I didn't think of a loofah. I've been using body scrub for the same effect, but a loofah would be great.
I bought some body butter from The Body Shop. I was in there shopping one day and this very pregnant woman came in and said something to the sale's girl about how she LOVES the shea butter and how it helped with strech marks. So that sold me.;p

I bought some bio-oil yesterday, it smells pretty! You can also use bio oil in the bath too, just add 5 drops of it into the bath:)

Ahhhhh! Your scaring me! Dark purple ones on your butt?!?!?! I have them all over my tummy and upper abbs as well as my breasts from my first pregnancy but they aren't dark purple they are like a light pink kinda like a scar color.

The ones on my hips are light pink, too, but maybe my butt is just paler so they seem really purple? I don't know. I hope they'll fade!

Yeah I think everyones butt is generally a paler color than the rest of our bodies. Unless you go tanning which of course we can't while pregnant. :( I'll be sending go away stretchmark vibes your way though! Hope they get better for ya hun! :)

I got three very small ones when I was pregnant with my son, they're all under an inch long and by my right hip. I don't have any new ones with this pregnancy, yet. I haven't gained any weight yet, but my belly is way bigger than it was at 16w last pregnancy. My boobs have been covered in stretch marks since I was 14, so it's hard telling if there are any new ones on them. I've went from a D to a DD already, but I was a DD while breastfeeding my son. :/
