UPDATE

Here is an update on my previous post (which is also in my journal)

The nurse practioner and the pharmacist I had talked to both had told me last to not use the cream Cutivate .05% (considered potent)
Cutivate's own website says this:
1. Pregnancy: Teratogenic Effects: Pregnancy Category C. Corticosteroids have been shown to be teratogenic in laboratory animals when administered systemically at relatively low dosage levels. Some corticosteroids have been shown to be teratogenic after dermal application in laboratory animals
2. on pregnant female rats- In the presence of maternal toxicity, fetal effects noted at 100 µg/kg/day (less than the MRHD in adults based on body surface area comparisons) included decreased fetal weights, omphalocele, cleft palate, and retarded skeletal ossification.
on pregnant rabbits-Fetal effects noted at 4 µg/kg/day (less than the MRHD in adults based on body surface area comparisons) included decreased fetal weights, cleft palate and retarded skeletal ossification.
3. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. During clinical trials of CUTIVATE Lotion, women of childbearing potential were required to use contraception to avoid pregnancy. Therefore, CUTIVATE Lotion should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

Well after the nurse talked to the dermatologist and my obgyn. She told me to start using it as we had discussed (twice a day one week-once a day the second week) then come back in if it does not go away.
I am so confused, first she says do not use it and shows real concern for my pregnancy and then now use it as the doc said to in the beginning.
I do not believe I need it enough to risk harm to my baby. I could cry..I don't know what to do. No one will listen to me. I want them to just remove it and see if it is basal cell carcinoma-that is safer than "trying" this cream to see if it may or may not work. I do have faith in my obgyn-but he is also very laid back and casual about things (like said I could have everything that is "off limits" in moderation-like sushi and other things people warn aganist). I am so sorry this is such a long post-I just don't know who to turn to. I am going to call my reg doc tomorrow that I have had for years and ask his advice.
I am so lost. I have a bad feeling about this cream-but I should prob not let this bump go too long either. :(
And-THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR PREVIOUS SUPPORT!!!!
