I found this in a notebook of mine, I wrote it a while ago, it's undated so I don't know when, but sometime in the last 6 months. I had forgotten writing it, and rereading it, I actually really kinda thought it was something to share..... so.... enjoy

the more you get to know someone, and the more you come to care for them, love them, the more physically attractive they appear. (the reverse is also true, I have met people who were very attractive and became more and more physically repulsive as I learned their personality....)

I definitely experience that same perception shift with people. It does sound like you're loving your self now more than before :)

I have always found that the more you get to know someone, and the more you come to care for them, love them, the more physically attractive they appear. ... So does that mean I've finally started to love myself?

In my own experience, this works 100% on other people, but I don't think it applies to myself. Love has a way of blinding us to flaws, or at least helping us to see past them, but it's harder to see past one's own flaws.
