That free album certainly was a nice gesture, Mr Reznor. It's a shame it failed to engage me even the slightest.

LOL! Let's face it, is he ever gonna give away anything decent for free?

I downloaded the whole of the last album, listened to 5 tracks, then deleted the whole lot. Pure tripe.

I enjoyed it, myself.

I really liked Ghosts as well. I think there's just a split in NIN fans between the folk who liked the early Downward Spiral and Pretty Hate Machine stuff, which I don't think is really very good or has stood the test of time, or the newer more instrumental stuff - especially The Fragile (one of my all time favourite albums) and Ghosts.

To be fair to you, though, I think 99.9999% of goth / industrial / ebm / "darkpop" is absolute pish anyway, so I'm not the most unbiased of sources.

Mind, you do seem to like your music especially bland and middle aged these days ;-D

Oh, and I need your advice about live laptop sequencing and sampling and stuff for WMC! When are you next free for a day or so? There'll be some free pints and manlove in it for you
