When it rains, it pours

Am I the only one who hates to be asked 'How are you?'/'What's up?'/variant? Most of the time I use a noncommittal answer but it doesn't really mean anything in the end does it? When I'm not going well chances are I won't feel like discussing it first thing in the conversation! Besides, anyone and everyone asks 'how are you' and I'm not comfortable ( Read more... )

IS your LJ friends only? If so it should matter if someone found it..! Thank God for friends only feature.

I always ask ppl what's up.. but I never expect an honest answer really.. just like I usually don't say when I am not ok myself.

Sorry about your friend.. distance sucks when you have a friend in need. It kills me too when it happens.

Is it but it wasn't always.
Also, sometimes I forget or don't lock some entries. ^^;

I don't think anyone is expecting an honest answer but sometimes when I'm really not doing well I don't feel like faking a smile or kind of freeze and it's awkward! ^^;;

On top of everything that's been going on in Bluie's life lately, it's really one of top of the other...

Well if you have the money and time to spare in QC they have a lot of courses now that they opened the second floor specifically for it.

I didn't hear any rumours but I know they got about 5 submissions total... I'll let you know if I hear anything!

It depends on the class but the most expensive ones are 35$ (including one on scotch and tea ^^; ) I think you can find all the info on their website → http://camellia-sinensis.com/ateliers-quebec/

I hate it too when people ask me "How are you?"/"What's up?" but the worst for me was at work last summer when I had to call clients and the lady who trained me told me to ask them "how are you?" to be polite. I always felt so stupid because it always went "Hello, how are you? Good. Ok, about that deadline..." meh

Camellia Sinensis has a 2nd floor now? I should check it out! But lately I've been going to Sebz on René-Levesque, they're really nice over there and not elitists like at Camellia S. I went to an event there last week for the Chinese national holiday it was pretty cool. You should go sometime!

That sucks!

Sebz is kind of out of the way for me while Camellia is literally across the street from work. I talked to one of the owner when I went to Sebz and they were really friendly. They also make their own blends and don't look down on people who enjoy a good artificially flavoured blend. (I don't drink them but it's a question of principles!)
