You're doing a great job with the characters and the plot. Clearly your research is paying off. And of course, you leave us hungry for more.

Did you know that most of the work by Dumas Pere was published in chapters not unlike the ones you're writing?

You're also bringing to mind Sabatini's Master at Arms, but with a more feminine and interesting point of view.

Thank you, my dear, I am glad you are enjoying the ride. (Wouldn't it be lovely to ride with the Panther astride Rogue . . .) I know that many 19th century novelists had their works serialized in newspapers or magazines of their day.
