I just answered the phone and got a $300 gig for saturday!! Ahhhhhhhhh it's amazing how one phone call can solve all your problems sometimes. Gonna do summa that goooood grocery shopping. :D

I'm really stoked 'cause I did the gig last year and set a good precedent with my fee... I'm usually terrible at asking for money, but that's partly 'cause I'm usually playing with/for my friends in east van and nobody has any. but if the "granville street entertainment district" suits want me... I figured I could charge them out the nose and they wouldn't bat an eye, and I was right! *laughing*

but yeah, irish tunes mostly, acoustic, solo.

Thats great! I don't know if I'll ever try playing for money, then again maybe after I put in some time and feel confident I will change my tune.

Lord, 300 bucks for some Irish tunes! That's great! Might be hard for me to sell some Quebecois tunes for the same down in southern NH!
