As a colleged person myself, and someone who's in the process of getting more college, I think what she meant wasn't that college doesn't mean you're not smart or can't work hard; it means that you have access to resources that many people don't.

*hugs*

Take care of yourself, hun!!

College is never a waste of time. Plus, you went to college to learn things, not to find a vocation right? Anyway, college will prove something if you go to get a managerial position and are making 1/3 more money than people are managers without a college degree. With college your starting salary is what people without a college degree end up making. So don't feel bad about yourself because someone is sensitive because they do not have a degree.

EDUCATION IS NEVER A WASTE OF TIME!

Ashtray my love... I feel your pain. I am also a glorified secretary. I work with a bunch of people who have college degrees and they don't understand why i'm a secretary. I also don't really understand but no one wants to give a job to someone who has very little experience and a freaking degree in French. I think we need to re-do the whole college thing. Someday we'll have better jobs... I think.

Your education made you what you are today. I very mature person who wants more in life. Keep searching for what you like to do no matter what the money. Money is both good and evil. When do not have it, it looks like it can solve all your problems. When you do have it, the problems do not go away. To truly enjoy life never give up the search that college started you to make. i.e. who am I and how can I make a difference in this world. Give Milly a hug for me.

Who is this anyway?

Regardless, I agree with you on all counts. Sometimes I'm just a little disillusioned with my life.
