Well....sorta.

I was flipping through old Elijah pictures looking for that perfect manipping head shot - I really, really was looking at ELIJAH pictures (there's proof, so I'll stop feeling guilty) and about mid-way through my nostalgic sigh of how darn CUTE he was with that laughable little side hawk thing - I found this.....

( Now it's neither new....or all that amazing....or anything that I haven't seen before.....BUT..... )

I KNOW!!! I mean...Today!Dom is sexy as hell, but Young!Dom just looked so....so...YOUNG! I guess it wasn't as obvious back in the day just how young he actually was seeing as how he was almost always standing next to baby faced Elijah - but looking back....they were all just so YOUNG!!!

*swoons and tries to go back to making some sense*

Oh, I think both of them look great nowadays. Is it because I wasn't around in the good old days? Don't think so. Things have changed a lot (obviously!), but I still see them happy many times.

Hey NOW!!!! It was the first one I found of Today!Dom - is it THAT hard to believe that I would have THAT picture at arms reach all the time - come on....look who you're talking to here! *snorts*

And YES!!! I think they both look amazing now a days as well - I'll always hold a special place and a special kink in my heart for the days of them being fresh faced and "innocent" (yeah, right, huh?) And ALWAYS will it remind me of the early days of my fascination with the two of them and all the thrills and fun times I had discovering this whole warped world of pervy like-minded hobbit lovers! So yeah, maybe that's what all the ooh-ing and awwww-ing is all about when I see them young...and together....and all sparkly faced and sweet eyed - come on Du! Awwwww with me!

Nawww! He does look young doesn't he? I think its partially because his hair is so much shorter there, it's getting pretty long now.

Mmmmm....thank you sweets - it was always one of my favorites as well - and I was feeling all bold and thinking that no one who really knows me should be surprised at all to see THAT as my layout ;)

And yes - it's partially his hair, and his tiny little shoulders and chest and just something about his face that really looks young. Like I was saying earlier - I guess we never really noticed just how young *Dom* looked back then because he was always standing next to baby-faced Elijah or perpetually boy-ish Billy - but *awwwwwww* indeed - Dom was a baby too and SO DAMN CUTE!!!

It was definately one of my favourite Domlijah manips that you've done. I was showing your manips to a friend in the latter half of last year and she was just like O.O *LOVE*, then I got her to read "Quit It" and she nearly collapsed so I keep telling her to get her arse over here and say hello to you but she hasn't done it yet *eye roll* I'll have to poke that girl again.

Yeah, I've been missing pre-Lost!Dom. I still like him a whole lot now (every time he's one a talk show, I just wanna give him a big hug and hang out...lol), but there is something a little different about him now as compared to the LOTR days. I guess people change and grow and celebrities aren't an exception.

I don't know that it's so much Pre-Lost!Dom that we all miss - but just the whole lot of them together doing LOTR stuff and getting up to no good and being in pictures together and not being able to do an interview or apperance without mentioning the others. It's like we all fell in love with the idea of them being inseperable and seeing them grow and watching them do their own thing is just one more reminder that THAT era is over and never again will it really be what that one magical time was. (good grief, how cheesy and pathetic do I sound?)

I don't know - I still adore Dom and LOVE watching him on talk shows and still soak up every last magazine article and picture that I can get my hands on, and could not be more thrilled that LOST has been the huge success that it is for him and his career (here I go again sounding crazy) - but I do miss the earlier days as well ;)
