I was watching the news this morning, or I should say Meet the Press of one of the other Sunday morning spin machine shows. John McCain was talking, I liked the man, and if he runs in 08 I will be voting for him. Hands down the least crooked of the hopeful canidates, and the guy spent time in a POW camp, for that he earns my primary and hopefully

you may be right about the presidential candidates trying to reach the public in a different way, but it will be mainstream as well, there are a lot of us who use the internet everyday, there will be propaganda "news stories" posted on the front pages of each news site, yahoo, myspace, google, etc.... I think they will not sway the majority of young people--the biggest issue is still getting people to get out and vote--and that's why the republicans still do pretty well overall on the presidential votes, my guess will be that as our parent's generation starts dying off, the democrats will have better luck. But- if they can keep up with 3rd party or 4th party divisions, maybe we can finally envision real change-and all of us and the younger generation will put our foot down (and vote).
