This heart of mine has lost trust in others word. Its not that its broken but seriously...why do i put myself through the bullshit of liking some one? who in the end doesnt feel the same way...im not one to repeat shit more then once...and here i do it over and over again...u got to be kidding me

No, in all seriousness, I too have a defense mechanism exactly like yours. I push people away so I won't get hurt. But,in the end who is at an actual lost? You are left alone. In order to get over it you need to break that wall down. Like actual bricks, it might take some effort & time to actually accomplish it, and also, leaving yourself open doesnt always equal vulnerability...remember that.
