Dark Sakura
Abilities: To put it simply, Sakura has the ability to effect astral beings that are on a separate plane of reality or existence than others, like the Servants in F/SN. She can corrupt, destroy, torture, and generally mess up anything on this plane of existence due to her version of magic creating a separate dimension. Sakura also has the magical ability to steal from others, and an extremely large mana pool. Mana is basically the magical force in the Nasuverse kind of like how chakra is used in Naruto and reiatsu in Bleach. The most terrifying possibility with Sakura is the transformation into Dark Sakura. This occurs when Sakura is effected by Zouken and Angra Mainyu, though in comedic situations elements of her dark side resurface when angered to a certain point. Sakura's mana count skyrockets when Dark Sakura, and her personality is twisted. She can create shadow beings, regenerate and create tentacles out of grail mud, something that she can summon herself. The grail mud itself causes people to go insane and can erode a person's body like acid.
Personality: On the outside, Sakura is a very gentle and kind person. She is always willing to help out Shirou and can be seen smiling every time she's around him. She gets upset and depressed like most people, but whenever around Shirou it seems she is walking on air. Sakura constantly takes care of Shirou, which shows an element in her personality of selflessness. This is reserved for Shirou alone, given the fact that Sakura has a long standing and obvious crush on him which causes her to blush a lot around him. Sakura has an innocent mask on her face that turns her into the typical shy girl, but that's exactly what this is. It's a mask.
Sakura's past has rooted into her a very dark personality behind that smile of hers. She is insanely depressed due to the events that center around her and as well feels bad about having to keep secrets from Shirou. Sakura was constantly raped by her adoptive brother due to the fate her adoptive grandfather put upon her, and was adopted into the Matou family from the Tohsaka family due to an unfortunate situation. She was put there in hopes that Zouken could gain the grail, seeing as how the Matou blood had thinned magic to nonexistence after Shinji was born. Throughout her horrible fate, her real sister was one Sakura always begged for and feeling that after so many years Rin wouldn't save her, she attempted to commit suicide. What made this depressed side of her disappear temporarily and what saved her from suicide was Shirou himself.
Shirou cares about Sakura, and she believes that Shirou's love is genuine. While he is completely oblivious to Sakura's feelings for the most part, just being with Shirou is enough for her. Losing his love would twist Sakura into her Dark Sakura form, which is the case in Heaven's Feel. Becoming even more depressed and losing her grip on her happiness, Sakura feels the one person she had tethering her to life was gone and aimed to kill herself to escape her personal hell. When she ends up killing Shinji instead, we see Sakura's dark side personified. Sakura's dark side is something she accepts, causing her to incorporate all the evils of the world into her body. She becomes sadistic, shown in a bad end where she devours and rapes Rin constantly. This personality is gone since at the end of HF, Rin and Shirou show Sakura that they care about her. Shirou and Rin become the tools necessarily for Sakura to deal with what she's been through, and her confidence goes through the roof with them. With Shirou as her boyfriend and Rin as the sister she always idolized, Sakura finally gains the life she's always wanted and is happy once more.
...And then she gets thrust into the Facility.
History: Sakura was born Tohsaka Sakura to Tokiomi and Aoi. During the 4th War, Sakura ends up being brought into the Matou family, given up because Tokiomi wanted to save Sakura from living in Rin's shadow. Her life with the Matou family was absolutely horrible, being raped constantly and used as nothing more than a tool by both Zouken and Shinji. As Sakura plans to kill herself, she comes across Emiya Shirou. She slowly falls in love with him and begins to tether herself to her love for him to keep her in this world. However, events of her past start to gather with one another and Sakura is forced to become 'The Shadow' by Zouken. Knowing the horrible things that she had done weren't just nightmares, Sakura ends up being twisted by Zouken further and after attempting to kill him turns into Dark Sakura. She wreaks as much havoc as Dark Sakura as she did as The Shadow, and all hope seems to be lost as far as her sanity goes. However, when Rin brings herself to kill Sakura and stops to hug her instead, Sakura believes Rin has died. Losing herself even further, Shirou informs Sakura that Rin is alive and through the efforts of Illya and Shirou, Rin is saved from death and Sakura is broken free of Angra Mainyu's shroud. After these events, Sakura ends up being able to live with Shirou, Rider, Rin and herself in the normal life that she always wanted. Everyone that haunted her died, and she is able to face her corrupt past with a confident smile on her face.
Roleplay Sample - Log: The ground was cold, her forehead was hot, and the world around her seemed spacious. This wasn't the Emiya household, nor was this her home. Panicking, Sakura awoke with a start to find herself with walls surrounding her. Was she kidnapped by someone, or perhaps trapped in her own psyche? Feeling her way around in the dark, Sakura fumbled her hands against a device that laid on her lap. The device didn't matter, so she set it on the bed and got up. Fearful of whatever might be in the dark attempting to grasp at her, she stepped softly and hearing footsteps jumped onto the bed in the room. Lifting up the device and seeing that it fuctioned as a social tool, she spoke in a very hushed and fearful tone. "I-If anyone can hear me... where am I... what am I doing here...? Senpai... Nee-san... Rider... where are you...?"

Senpai... Nee-san... ah... Rider... are any of you here too? I don't know what's happened, but I think I may have been kidnapped...
[And then she focuses her attention on the screen, a more serious look taking her eyes over.]
If you can hear me as well, Kidnapper... you've made a bad mistake. I'm not going to sit here and be your victim, so whatever ransom you're asking for you won't get.
This game includes horrible mental and physical torture of your character. After reading the rules/faq for clarification, how do you expect your character to handle this and continue to function? She's a lot stronger now than she was prior to her canonpoint so she will be able to handle most squicky stuff with ease. If it's anything worse than being raped constantly for years, it won't phase her as much. Even if her mind is broken, she has Rin and Rider in her corner to push her out of extreme depression.
