Okay, so I basically need to vent...

First things first. A HUGE pet peeve of mine is when people ask 'why' to things that... I don't know, shouldn't be asked why to. This is an abstract example, but appropriate:

Person 1: Are you hungry?

Me: No.

Person 1: Why?

Me (thinking): STFU WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN WHY? I'M JUST NOT HUNGRY. I'M NOT HUNGRY
