The heat is still a killer.

The Rad Tech Program Fall 2006 class orientation went well. Okay, I lied. It was pretty overwhelming. It took about 4 hours, 8am-12pm. In the middle of it, 2 1st year Rad Tech students came by and talked to us. We were able to get some feedback from them as far as what to expect in the program, academically and clinically. They said it's hard, but ( Read more... )

BREEEEEEE!!!! WOW, it's been a long ass time! Glad to hear you're still alive! ;P No really, it's good to hear from you. Pfft, don't even think I've forgotten about your ass! I was wondering where you were and what you've been up to since I haven't heard from you in the longest! I did hope that you were staying out of trouble though ;p Wow, EMT... that's somethin'. That's awesome, Bree! I'm proud of you! I really am :) So, you're a myspace junkie, eh? I used to be one also back when it barely started... but it's gotten so old to me now. I'm mostly on there to check messages from both of my real life and online friends. It seems like the site has become the best tool to reach everyone... I always say they can get ahold of me through calling me on my cell, but to most, they choose to send me a message on myspace instead. I got a cellphone for a reason, ya know? Heh.

Anyway, it's REALLY REALLY REALLY good to hear from you. I'll look you up on myspace and even add you. I hope you're enjoying the summer. Take care!

My orientation was extremely overwhelming as well. You are lucky it only took 4 hours lol, mine was three days (from 8 am till midnight). I know you will get through this, just take it one step at a time babe. I feel kind of stupid asking this actually, but what is exactly is a Rad tech program? God, I have a feeling I will have little leisure time as well. I will try my hardest to keep in contact though. Know I'm thinking of you :)

Mmmm Johnny is such a hottie. Vanessa Paradis is sooo fucking lucky. You look beautiful as always my dear. It's cool to see all your friends/co-workers.

Your orientation took 3 days from 8 am till midnight?! WHOA! How'd you survive it?! I'd have died if my orientation took that long. lol. Auwwee... thanks, Beth. Yeah, the basically the same advice I got from everyone I vented to... taking it one step at a time. I'll try. *sighs* Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel kind of stupid. If anything, I'm the one feeling stupid now for not being specific, like I assumed everyone should know what I'm talking about. *smacks self* lol. Um, Rad Tech is short term for RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY (medical x-ray). When we graduate and take our registry and pass it, we'll be titled Radiologic Technologist. Not to be confused w/X-ray Technician. Rad Tech is broader and more detailed. It's a 2-year program. X-ray Tech certification only takes about 8 months or so and only has limited license. I guess I can say that Rad Tech has more prestige. It's more up there... and once I'm in that level, w/much experience needed, I can always go up and take up MRI. Climbing up the ladder, so to speak. Okay, ( ... )
