The other me wrote me an appeal I found oversentimental but intriguing. He was brave, which I can respect, and also had the courage of his convictions. I don't agree with everything he did; he seemed a bit reckless with his alliances. But...

As an Inmate I have wondered what the criteria for graduation truly are in my case. I was concerned that I would lose...personal and mental integrity...in the process of compliance. I now have an image of this "redemption" that does not include such a loss.
