Jack knocks on the door, waiting for his mother to come greet them; they’ve finally arranged a lunch with her and Kate, since both women want to know the other better.

Jack is a little scared by this launch, he doesn’t want his mother to scare Kate off or Kate to not like his family; he hugs her protectively, waiting for his mother to open the door.

I'm so glad you decided to adrees the pilot storyline LOL I've always been curious about. This is one of the big misteries of Lost O.o

And they are so cute. I can totally see Kate saying that. We know how insecure Jack is.
